Pittsburgh Xplosion News Release
PITTSBURGH, Dec. 7, 2005 -- The Pittsburgh Xplosion lived up to its name tonight, blasting the Cleveland Rockers 147-132 in a game of high-octane offense. The Xplosion (5-4) had 8 players score in double figures, led by guards Kyle Crawford (23 points) and Maurice Carter (22 points).
Playing his first game for the Xplosion, forward Shohn Williams of Loyola University of Chicago chipped in 20 points and led all players with 12 rebounds. Former Schenley High School guard Jason Benson added 18 and Coleco Buie scored 17 for the Xplosion. It was the highest point total of the season for the Xplosion, which won for the second game in a row.
