
RazorSharks move up to seven in ABA Playoff Power Rankings

(Rochester, New York) - The Rochester RazorSharks jumped into the #7 slot in the American Basketball Association's Playoff Power Rankings this week, with three of the top seven teams coming from the Rochester's own Connie Hawkins Division. The RazorSharks will travel to #4 NE Penn Breakers (6-1) on Thursday, December 8 and then host the #5 ranked club, the Maryland Nighthawks (8-2), this Saturday, December 10 at The Blue Cross Arena, with tip-off scheduled for 7:35 p.m.
The ABA Playoff Power Rankings are based on each team's win-loss record, number of games played and strength of schedule. The 36-game regular season schedule concludes in mid-March, with a single-elimination tournament-style playoff format following.

RAZORSHARKS MAKE TV DEBUT ON WBGT UPN-18
The RazorSharks will televise their game this weekend on WBGT UPN-18 cable in a tape-delayed broadcast of Saturday's game at The Blue Cross Arena against Maryland. The game will be re-broadcast on Sunday, December 11 at 12:00 noon, with Gene Battaglia and former Syracuse University great Roosevelt Bouie handling the play-by-play. Non-cable viewers can tune to Channel 40 on local network television for WBGT UPN.
RAZORSHARKS HIRE KIM SNYDER - The RazorSharks have hired Kim Snyder to lead their ticket operations and sponsorship sales at The Blue Cross Arena for the professional basketball team. The native of Rochester recently worked for the Rochester Raging Rhinos and IMAX Cinema. Snyder will lead the RazorSharks ticket and sponsorship sales department, including season ticket sales and accounts, group tickets, game night ticket operations, corporate sponsorship sales and proactive ticket promotions.
UNKLE ROG TRIBUTE SATURDAY NIGHT - Saturday's game at The Blue Cross Arena will feature a halftime tribute to WCMF radio personality Unkle Rog, who was murdered two year ago. Brother Wease, morning personality at WCMF and RazorSharks season ticket holder, will lead the on-court tribute.
TICKETSÅ for Saturday's game featuring former Syracuse University star Lawrence Moten and the Maryland Nighthawks (8-2, 2nd place), are on sale at the Arena Box office, all TicketMaster locations, via phone by calling (585) 232-1900 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. The RazorSharks continue to sell the 10-game "Flex Pack" booklet, a coupon book of 10 ticket vouchers that can be redeemed at the Arena Box Office for tickets to any RazorSharks regular season home game.
