Xplosion place McAllister and Halsel in injured reserve

PITTSBURGH, January 6, 2007 - The Pittsburgh Xplosion professional basketball team announced today that it had placed former Duquesne University star Bryant McAllister and former Point Park University standout DeVaughn Halsel on the Continental Basketball Association Injured Reserve List. The Xplosion take on the Great Falls Explorers today at 7:05 PM at the Petersen Events Center.

McAllister, who is making his second stint on IR, was averaging 10.5 points and 4.4 assists for Pittsburgh. Halsel was averaging 7.5 points and 5.7 rebounds.
