Xplosion Draft Antonio Graves
October 2, 2007 - Continental Basketball Association 1 (CBA 1)
Pittsburgh Xplosion News Release
PITTSBURGH, October 2, 2007 - The Pittsburgh Xplosion added some local flavor at the end of the 2007 CBA Draft last week. The team selected former Pitt guard Antonio Graves in the sixth round.
Graves became a solid contributor for the Panthers during his career, and he averaged 9.2ppg in his senior season. Graves was often overshadowed in the Pitt backcourt by players such as Carl Krauser and Levance Fields, but he helped lead the team to four 20-win seasons and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
The 6-3 guard became an outstanding long range shooter in his senior year, connecting on more than 40 percent of his three point attempts.
Graves is scheduled to take part in the Xplosion's second open tryout camp this weekend at Pressley Ridge on Pittsburgh's North Side. For more information, visit the Xplosion at www.pittsburghxplosion.com.
