Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights News Release

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights are pleased to announce that forward Thomas Wray has become the latest player to sign a tender with the Knights' organization.

Wray, 18, will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The 5'9? forward comes from the Detroit Compuware U18 team. In 16 games, Wray posted six goals and 19 points this past season.

"Thomas is a highly skilled forward that excels in the dirty areas of the ice," said NAHL Assistant Coach and Director of Scouting, Andrew Whiteside. "His speed mixed with his high compete level makes him a threat every shift. As a staff, we feel Thomas was one of the best forwards at the U18 Midget level this year. We are excited to have Thomas join the Knights' family!"

A native of Longwood, FL, Wray spent the last four years playing youth hockey in the Michigan area. Prior to Compuware, he spent time in the Little Caesars program similar to other Knights such as Max Klanow and Evan Orr. Wray's skillset previously earned him an NAHL call-up with the Minnesota Magicians last season, in which he skated in three games with the team.
