
Wranglers Sign To Sign Bobby Hill and Jeffrey Sadler

WACO, Texas-The Waco Wranglers will hold a press conference to sign both Bobby Hill and Jeffrey Sadler Saturday, September 30, at 10:30 a.m. at the Murray Watson Jr. Student Recreation Center at Texas State Technical College Waco.
Hill, a 6-foot-8 power forward played for Tyler Junior College where he was named to the All American Team in 2001. He then received a full scholarship to Austin Peay State University where he helped lead the team to a spot in the NCAA Tournament in 2003.
Hill has also played for the Dallas Diesel and for the OPBA in Canada.
Hill believes the team's cohesiveness will help them win this season. "I think we're ahead of a lot of teams. One thing we have as a team is cohesiveness," he said. "Everything is starting to fall into place."
Sadler, a 6-foot-4 small forward is a Waco native from University High School. He helped lead his team to the state semi-finals and a perfect district record of 10-0. His team also had the best record in school history that season, 34-4.
Sadler attended Dixie College before transferring to Northland Pioneer where he was ranked as the fourth defense player in the conference.
"I think we're doing pretty good," Sadler said. "We're ahead of a lot of people We've got good chemistry as a team."
The Waco Wrangler Bash will be held after the press conference at 11 a.m. The entire community is invited to enjoy free snacks and drinks, compete in contests, and watch the Wranglers in a 3-on-3 tournament. Minister Slugger and Bluu from American Idol will also be giving the community a mini concert.
