
Mayor Purchases First Atlanta Vision Season Pass

Suwanee, GA - September 29, 2006 - Atlanta Vision and Suwanee Sports Academy received a welcome proclamation at Tuesday's council meeting from City of Suwanee Mayor, Nick Masino, officially announcing September 21st as "Atlanta Vision Day." "We are honored to have a day dedicated to the Atlanta Vision," stated Vision owner Quentin Townsend. "With the City of Suwanee's commitment to excellence and our focus on community-based affordable family entertainment, we are destined to produce positive results in Gwinnett," added Townsend.
Atlanta Vision presented the City of Suwanee with an official ABA game basketball autographed by General Manager, Dennis Scott, Vision players, and staff members. "We are excited about the partnership between Atlanta Vision and our friends at the Suwanee Sports Academy. We're delighted to have professional basketball and a new home team to cheer on," stated Mayor Masino. "I plan on suiting up for a Vision home game as the Celebrity 11th Man," added Masino. As an act of support, Mayor Masino purchased Atlanta Vision's first season pass for the 2006-2007 season.
Atlanta Vision is an official member of the American Basketball Association (ABA) and will defend their 2005 Divisional Championship title at their new home venue, Suwanee Sports Academy. The ABA was made famous by Julius "Dr. J" Erving, the red, white and blue ball, innovative rules, and fan-friendly, affordable entertainment. Ticket packages are now on sale for their 18 home game season that begins in November and goes through March.
