Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced Friday that the team will open the 2013-14 season with a Wranglers Fan Fest on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4-7 p.m. at Scooter's Pub. The Wranglers Fan Fest will be the first public opportunity to meet the entire 2013-14 team, and entry will be free.
Fans are invited to mingle with the Wranglers while playing carnival-style games and enjoying food and drinks in the Scooter's Pub parking lot. The team will also raffle off prizes and have The Duke on hand for high-fives and photos. Wranglers season and mini-plan ticket holders will have an exclusive opportunity to see Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill introduce his first team with private early entry from 3-4 p.m.
"Without our fans, there is no Wranglers team, so this is our way of welcoming everyone to the eleventh season," said Matt Langseth, Director of Ticket Sales. "It's a great chance for everyone to meet the team and front office staff, and for us to say thanks for years past and kick off a brand new one."
Scooter's Pub is located at 6200 S. Rainbow Blvd., and is home to all of the Wranglers' road games. Season and mini-plan tickets will be available for pick-up at the Wranglers preseason game against the Ontario Reign on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2:05 p.m. $15 tickets for the preseason game will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and help the Wranglers send 10 kids to MDA summer camp.
The Wranglers open their eleventh season of hockey in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:05 p.m. against the Utah Grizzlies. For the entire Wranglers schedule, please click here for a one-page PDF .
