Wranglers Faith #1 Cancelled

WICHITA, KS (May 24, 2007) - The Wranglers announced today that the previously scheduled Faith Night on Friday, June 1, 2007 will be cancelled. Jimmy Needham had been scheduled as the headlining act for the first Faith Night of the season, during a pre-game Christian concert.

The second Faith Night of the season on Friday, August 17, 2007 will be performed as scheduled. The concert's artist will be named at a later date.

Faith Night's presenting sponsor, Case & Associates, will continue to sponsor the Wranglers game on June 1st, which was scheduled as an 8:00 p.m. start, and will now be played at 7:00 p.m., with gates opening at 6:15 p.m. That night will now feature a Wichita Wranglers Batting Helmet giveaway to the first 1,000 fans through the gates.

Case & Associates will sponsor the second Faith Night, as well as Tribute to the "1987 Wichita Pilots & Fireworks" night on Saturday, June 30, 2007.

Fans that pre-purchased their Faith Night tickets will be reimbursed in full and fans with any questions can contact the Wranglers Ticket Office at 316-267-3372.
