TUCSON, AZ - The Tucson Sugar Skulls have signed wide receiver Jazeric Peterson for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.
WR Jazeric Peterson (6'1" 190, Faulkner University) joins the Tucson Sugar Skulls for his first season with the team and his second in the IFL. In 2019, Peterson played for the Iowa Barnstormers under current Sugar Skulls Head Coach Dixie Wooten. Peterson ranked 6th in the IFL in receiving yards per game (51.5) and 10th in total receiving yards (566) during the 2019 season.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Peterson attended Alabama State University, before transferring to Faulkner University. The Columbus, Alabama native played both basketball and football for Houston County High School. During his senior year playing varsity, Peterson totaled 45 catches for 894 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns.
