Worrad Joins Roster

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter is pleased to announce that the team has signed 16 year old defenseman Jake Worrad to an Ontario Hockey League Contract.

Worrad, 16 joins the Knights after spending last season with the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs Minor Midgets. Worrad was the Knights 2nd Round Selection at the 2009 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Worrad stands 5.10 and weighs 180 lbs and resides in Birr, Ontario.

Worrad participated in the London Knights Mini Camp held on May 30th, 2009 and will attend the London Knights Training Camp in August, 2009. Jake is the son of Brian and Mindy Worrad.
