World's Fastest Golfer Will Perform at IceGators Games this Weekend

LAFAYETTE, LA - The Louisiana IceGators are proud to announce that the world famous David "Ogie" Ogron will be performing at the 'Gators game on Friday and Saturday against the Columbus Cottonmouths. Ogie is known as the world's fastest golfer who has performed all around the world.
Ogie currently holds two Guinness Book of World Records and unofficial holder of many more extreme "speed" golfing world records. He has performed at different sporting events across the NFL, NBA, MLB and the NCAA for more than seven years. He performed on David Letterman and set an unofficial world record by hitting 1064 balls in 30 minutes. Then he set the 2-minute Guinness World record in Beijing, in front of a 30-million television audience. He has also appeared on the CBS Early Show seven times. Guinness recently notified him that his 24-Hour extreme golf record has been challenged 280,989 times, which gives him the Guinness World Record for the most applications for one event. None of the attempts have been successful.
His act is not the only thing he brings to the table. Each time he does a demonstration he Is given the chance to pass his motivational message of perseverance along to the crowd. He is also an Ambassador for the Boys and Girls Club of America. He has a powerful and heartfelt message that has brought audiences to tears and evoked uncontrollable laughter, as Ogie shares his compelling story.
The 'Gators return to action on Friday, January 14th, against Columbus and will be wearing special theme night jerseys sponsored by Coushatta Casino Resort. After the game fans are encouraged to join the players and dance team at WOW for a chance to bid on the players' jerseys. The IceGators will then return to the Dome on Saturday to take on the Cottonmouths of Columbus again at 7:05.
