
Worcester Sharks sign Billerica, MA native Dennis McCauley

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the team has signed forward Dennis McCauley to one-year American Hockey League contract. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.
McCauley, 24, attended the Los Angeles Kings and Manchester Monarchs training camps before signing with Worcester. The six-foot-three, 225-pound native of Billerica, MA played the last four seasons at Northeastern University recording 45 points (22-23-45) and 266 penalty minutes in 129 games.
Prior to Northeastern, Dennis recorded 60 points (30-30-60) and 412 penalty minutes in 112 games with the Sioux City Musketeers in the USHL.
McCauley is expected to wear #28 with Worcester.
The Sharks continue their opening three game road trip with a trip to Bridgeport on Friday and a battle in Lowell on Saturday. Starting time for both games is at 7pm.
Opening night at the DCU Center is Saturday, October 17th vs. the Lowell Devils. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Derek Joslin bobblehead courtesy of St. Vincent Hospital and a magnet schedule compliments of Charter Communications! Check us out!
