
Worcester Sharks announce TV game schedule

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks will have nine games aired on Charter TV-3.
"The Worcester Sharks are pleased to have teamed up with Charter TV-3 once again this season," said Lehr. Charter TV-3 will provide our fans with action packed Shark's hockey throughout the season from the comfort of their own homes."
Worcester Sharks Broadcaster Eric Lindquist will be joined by the Sports Director of Charter TV- 3 Kevin Shea for the second straight season.
Kevin Shea is an 11-year veteran of the television station, which is based in Worcester, and owned by Charter Communications. Each weeknight, "Worcester News Tonight" viewers enjoy watching Kevin provide a variety of sports highlights and interviews focused on local schools and athletes. This includes the award-winning "Friday Night Football Frenzy Show" co-hosted by Kevin along with Andy Lacombe. Shea does play-by-play coverage of local high school and collegiate football and basketball games, plus Worcester Tornadoes baseball games.

The Sharks will open their third season in Lowell on Saturday, October 11th at 7:00 p.m. Worcester will then travel to Glens Falls in New York to battle the River Rats on the October 17th at 7:30 p.m., and then return home for the team's home opener against Providence on October 18th at 7:05 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive an All-Star FINZ bobblehead and magnet schedule courtesy of Charter Communications! All fans will also be treated to a pre-game concert by Joshua Tree, a U2 tribute band! Following the game, Joshua Tree will perform at the Boston Billiard Club at Worcester!
