Worcester Railers Host Skate to the Date Event on Oct 14 at DCU Center

Worcester, MA - The Worcester Railers Hockey Club (@RailersHC), proud member of the ECHL (@ECHL), and Railers President Michael G. Myers officially announced today that the club will host a SKATE TO THE DATE event at the DCU Center on Friday, October 14, 2016.

Help us celebrate as we prepare to drop the puck on October 14, 2017.... SKATE TO THE DATE!

Doors will open at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Pavilion in the front of the DCU Center at 6pm for members followed by a "state of the union" address along with a question and answer session with new general manager/head coach Jamie Russell. All members will receive a commemorative Railers HC hockey puck and will be invited to skate on the DCU Center ice at 7pm. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served and there will be reduced parking rates available for members at the Major Taylor Boulevard Garage across from the Hilton.

Doors will open at 7:15pm for the general public and the skate will conclude at 8:45pm. All fans in attendance must bring their own skates and sign a waiver in order to skate. Enjoy a free skate with TRAX and other Worcester hockey fans as we get set for ECHL action at the DCU Center.

Railers HC members are encouraged to RSVP to ensure your commemorative puck by Monday, October 10th. Members may bring a guest to the "state of the union" portion of the event.
