MEDIA ADVISORY Friday's Preseason Game with Orlando Canceled

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today that this Friday's (October 7) preseason game with the Orlando Solar Bears at Germain Arena has been canceled due to travel concerns regarding the impending Hurricane Matthew which is forecast to affect several parts of Florida, including the Orlando area. There will no make-up date for Friday's preseason game.

Saturday's (October 8) preseason game with the Solar Bears is still scheduled to take place at Germain Arena with a 7:00 p.m. start time.

Those who purchased tickets for Friday's preseason game may receive a refund and/or exchange those tickets for any Everblades 2016-17 regular season game or for this Saturday's preseason game.

Refunds and exchanges must be made at the point of purchase. This means all tickets purchased at the Florida Community Bank Box Office located at Germain Arena must be refunded or exchanged at the box office. Those individuals who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be contacted by Ticketmaster to received a refund or make an exchange for a future game.

Friday's preseason game tickets will remain valid for all Everblades season ticket holders, who may redeem and use those tickets for any 2016-17 regular season game, or for Saturday's preseason game.

The Everblades open up the 2016-17 regular season on October 14 & 15 against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at Germain Arena.

The Florida Everblades open up their 19th season of hockey at home at Germain Arena on Friday, October 14 against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits beginning at 7:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive a free Everblades magnet schedule courtesy of Jack's Cleaning. The two teams will meet again on Saturday, October 15 with a 7:00 p.m. start time.
