In last night's match-up between the Worcester Bravehearts and Bristol Blues, the Worcester Bravehearts edged the Blues with a 2-1 lead and put the Blues at 26-20 on the season.
Davis Strong (St. Mary's) was a key component in last night's game as he had the only RBI thanks to back to back singles by Ty Roberts (Georgia Regents) and Jamie Timothy (Roger Williams) which was all the Blues were limited to.
Blues starting pitcher Troy Terzi (Valdosta State) was given the loss after going five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and added four strikeouts. Bravehearts winning pitcher was Dylan Collett.
The Blues are back in action tonight, July 31, when they head to Worcester for a rematch scheduled for a 7:05 first pitch.
