Worcester Bravehearts Announce Playoff Tickets on Sale

WORCESTER, MA "" The Worcester Bravehearts have found success both on and off the field in their inaugural season, and that success now has them on the verge of a playoff berth in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL).

The team has put tickets on sale for the first two potential playoff games that would take place at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field between August 9th and 12th. Fans can now purchase vouchers that can be redeemed for tickets to the actual playoff games once those dates and times have been set. Prices are $1 less expensive in advance, with Grandstand seats available for $6 and Box seats selling for $7. The team will also continue to accept their popular Flex Vouchers from fans who decide to use them for one or more of the playoff games.

The Bravehearts are currently in first place in the FCBL West Division with a 29 "" 21 record and 2 games ahead of the Torrington Titans. The top six teams in the 10-team league will qualify for the playoffs, and the Bravehearts can officially clinch a spot with one more victory in their final four games.

Bravehearts' GM Dave Peterson says, "It's incredible to think about potentially qualifying for the playoffs and hosting one or more home playoff games in our first season. Our players have truly come together here down the stretch to put us in this position, even when facing adversity. They've withstood a midseason managerial change, the loss of five players due to injury, and a grueling July schedule to get to this point."

The Bravehearts are still in excellent position to gain a first-round bye and host two games at Hanover Insurance Park in a semifinal round. If the team finishes with one of the top two records in the league, they will play a best-of-three series beginning Sunday, August 10th through Tuesday, August 12th. The best-of-three finals will take place between August 13th and 15th if the Bravehearts make it that far. Tickets for those games would go on sale at a later date.
