(Wausau, WI) - December 17th - Coming on the heels of very successful 2012 campaign, one which saw a franchise record for wins in a season, a South Division championship, and a playoff berth, the Woodchucks will look to continue their success in the 2013 season. The Northwoods League has announced its schedule for the 2013 summer collegiate baseball season. The Wisconsin Woodchucks home opener will be May 29th against the Green Bay Bullfrogs at Athletic Park in Wausau. The Woodchucks will then hit the road for two games before returning home Saturday June 1st to take on the Wisconsin Rapid Rafters.

The Woodchucks' schedule this year is highlighted by the return of Friday Night Fireworks, five Saturday and seven Sunday home games, as well as home games on Fathers Day, and the 4th of July. Also, the Northwoods League has included inter-divisional play on the schedule. The Woodchucks will be home July 28th through August 1st to take on North Division foes Thunder Bay and Duluth.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks are a member of the Northwoods League, a college wood bat summer league featuring players from across the country. Baseball America named the Northwoods League as one of the premier summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country.
