Chicago Wolves News Release

The wives and girlfriends of the Chicago Wolves players will be hosting their annual Valentine's Day fundraiser at home games on Wed., Feb. 4; Sat., Feb. 7; Sun., Feb. 8; Wed., Feb. 11; Wed., Feb. 18; Fri., Feb. 20 and Sun., Feb. 22.

Specially wrapped Valentine's Day pucks, which contain candy and the autograph of a surprise Wolves player, can be purchased for $10 in the East, North and South Concourses of the Allstate Arena. Fans who buy a puck that has a player's name signed in gold will have the chance to meet that player after the game.

In addition, a silent auction will be held at each of the games where fans can bid on baskets created by the players, which include items such as their favorite movies, music, food and more.

"Watching the children's faces light up when they unwrap their puck and find a gold signature is one of my favorite parts of this fundraiser. It makes giving back to the community fun and interesting," said Kelly Sipotz, wife of Wolves defenseman Brian Sipotz. "This year we had the fortune of having a lot of girls come help out with the preparation for the fundraiser. It's nice to see all of the wives and girlfriends come together to support charity."

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength, the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Chicago Wolves charities.
