--- The Wolves staged a four-goal, third-period comeback to defeat the
Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 4-1, at the Allstate Arena and win the West
Division Final, 4-games-to-1
--- Center CORY LAROSE posted two points (G, A) while forwards BRAD LARSEN
and DEREK MacKENZIE and defenseman JOE CORVO netted goals
--- Netminder KARI LEHTONEN registered 21 saves

recovered as they fell, 3-2, to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in Game 4 of the
West Division Final at the Cincinnati Gardens

--- Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN turned aside 33 of 36 shots

Cincinnati Gardens

points
--- Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT recorded 32 saves

--- BRAD LARSEN: Accrued six points (2G, 4A) in his last three games, which
includes the game-winning goal on Friday ... Tallied a playoff-high three
assists last Monday ... Ranks second on the team with a postseason
career-most nine points and shares second with a playoff career-high five
helpers
--- KARI LEHTONEN: Ranks second in the league with a 1.62 goals-against
average and a .944 save percentage in eight games .... Surrendered two or
fewer goals in 12 of his 18 career postseason appearances with the Wolves,
which includes six of his eight this year ... Ranks fourth among league
netminders with six wins and is tied for third with one shutout
--- CORY LAROSE: Collected five points (4G, A) in his last three contests
which includes a hat trick last Monday in Game 3 ... Recorded a team-high
four multi-point games ... Shares fourth in the AHL with a team-leading with
six goals, which matches a postseason career-high ... Shares 11th in the
league with a team-most 10 points in 10 games
--- JOE CORVO: Notched the game-tying goal and a team-high seven shots on
Friday ... Shares third among league defenseman with two goals and ranks
fourth with 32 shots in 10 games
--- DEREK MacKENZIE: Recorded five points (2G, 3A) in the West Divison
Final, which includes a postseason-high two points twice ... Shares second
on the team with a playoff career-most five assists and third with eight
points  which matches a career-high  in 10 contests
WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago has registered an 8-2 record to start the playoffs, which
matches the best postseason starts in team history in 1998 and 2000. The
Wolves went on to win championships in both of those years.
--- The Wolves have allowed an average of 1.60 goals per game, which paces
the AHL; the team ranked 14th in the league during the regular season
surrendering an average of 2.64 markers per game.
--- Chicago notched its first victory of the postseason when trailing after
two periods on Friday (1-2).
--- The Wolves matched a postseason-high two power-play goals on Friday
after being held scoreless on a playoff-most 11 man-advantage chances on
Wednesday.
HOME COOKING
The Wolves have posted a 14-0 record all time in playoff series they start at home, including 2-0 this year. Chicago, which is the only top seed remaining in the Calder Cup playoffs, has outscored its opponents, 16-7, at the Allstate Arena during the postseason.
NOTABLE
This marks the fourth time in franchise history the Wolves and Moose have faced off in the postseason, with Chicago winning each of the previous three matchups. The Wolves swept the Moose, 3-games-to-0, in the 1998 Western Conference Quarterfinal and 3-games-to-0 in the 1999 Western Conference Semifinal. Chicago also handed Manitoba a 4-games-to-2 loss in the 2001 Western Conference Final.
