Wolves Look to Capitalize as they Host IceDogs Tuesday, Greyhounds Friday

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Pack is Back and ready to run as they are on the hunt for the playoffs with three big games on the line this week. The Wolves look to keep their playoff hopes alive with two home games this week on Tuesday against the Niagara IceDogs and Friday against the against the Soo Greyhounds. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7:05pm.

David Goyette continues to lead both the pack and OHL rookies in scoring with 67 points in 61 games.

He has made a name for himself this year as the OHL's leading rookie in goals with 31 on the season and has worked his way into becoming one of the top rookies in Wolves franchise history. Since passing Quinton Byfield's rookie high, David now sits 3rd amongst Wolves all-time Rookie leading goal scorers which also includes Wolves' Head Coach, Craig Duncanson who sits first with 38 goals from his rookie season.

Tuesday's game is in partnership with Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services to celebrate Indigenous Culture. $5 from every ticket sold will also go towards KGCFS and supporting their various programs and events for foster children. The core objective of KGCFS is to serve the member First Nation communities through prevention and protection activities that are designed to culturally maintain and nourish the dignity and integrity of the Anishinabek family system by offering various supportive choices. Moreover, providing services through a culturally serviced delivery model to families to move towards healthy family lifestyles for their Anishinabek children, families, and communities. On Friday, the Wolves look to honour all our Hockey Moms for all their dedication and support through the development of their talented and rising hockey stars. The Wolves wish to celebrate our Player's moms, Billet moms, and all Hockey Moms in the community. Prior to the game, the Wolves will recognize their player and billet mom's in a special pre-game ceremony. All Hockey Moms can also take advantage of a special $15 ticket offer at greatersudbury.ca/tickets.

Tickets are on-sale now for both home games at the Sudbury Arena Box Office and online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets.

The Wolves will hit the road following Friday's game as they visit the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Saturday as well as Wednesday, April 13. Both road games are scheduled for puck drop at 7:07pm.
