(Peterborough, ON) - After a close loss in Peterborough on Thursday night, the Petes headed north to visit the Wolves but dropped a 7-4 decision in Sudbury on Friday night.
Adam Timleck (15, 16, 17) scored his second hat trick of the season, and Liam Kirk (15) scored his first goal since returning from the IIHF World Junior Division II A Championship.
Semyon Der-Arguchintsev registered two assists, while Nick Robertson, Matt McNamara, Ryan Merkley, Michael Little, Erik ?ermák, and Declan Chisholm each had one assist.
Final shots were 33-24 in favour of Sudbury. Hunter Jones stopped 26 of 32 shots. The Petes were 1/4 on the power play and 3/5 on the penalty kill.
The Petes wrap up the weekend against the Soo Greyhounds on Saturday, January 26 at 7:07pm. They return to home ice for a rare Wednesday night game on January 30 at 7:05pm when they host Peterborough the Hamilton Bulldogs.
