
Wolves Host Sting in Valentine's Day Showdown

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves will look to pick up their third win in a row on Friday night in a Valentine's Day showdown against the Sarnia Sting who are making their one and only appearance of the regular season this Friday night at 7:05pm.
The Wolves continue to lead the Central Division with 55 points and are coming off big wins over the Barrie Colts and Niagara IceDogs this past weekend. A number of Wolves players had a huge impact on the team's success last weekend including David Levin who picked up his 2nd career OHL hat-trick Sunday and Matej Pekar also picked up a hat-trick on Saturday against his former team as well as two assists on Sunday. Owen Robinson also picked up 6 points over the two wins.
Sarnia currently sits 5th in the West division and are led upfront by Carolina Hurricanes 2nd round prospect Jamieson Rees as well as Toronto Maple Leafs Prospect Ryan McGregor as well as overage forward Sean Josling who leads the squad offensively with 70 points in 52 games. On defence, the Sting are led by Columbus Blue Jacket prospect Eric Hjorth. The Wolves will also welcome former Sudbury Wolves defenceman Peter Stratis back to the Sudbury Arena.

Following Friday's game, the Wolves will hit the road to travel to St. Catharine's to face the Niagara IceDogs Sunday, before wrapping up the weekend on Family Day Monday with a stop in Peterborough to battle the Petes.
