
Wolves dance team to perform at "Fight To Educate" this Thursday, May 6

MANCHESTER, N.H. (May 5, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves dance team will be making an appearance at this Thursday's third annual Crown Royal "Fight To Educate" amateur boxing event at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The night's festivities begin at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event benefit The Union Leader Santa Fund, The Hundred Club of New Hampshire and the Bobby Stephens Fund for Education. Last year's gala raised $45,000.
Highlighting the exciting boxing action in the ring this year will be a special performance from the Wolves dancers, who plan to wow the crowd with an upbeat dance routine. "Blitz," the Wolves official mascot, will also be in attendance to help keep the fans on their toes.
The Fight to Educate card features some of the region's top amateur boxers.
In other Wolves community news, this Saturday, May 8, team mascot "Blitz" is scheduled to appear at the local Manchester walk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event, which runs from noon - 4 p.m., will be held at Arms Park.
Next Wolves Home Game - Friday, May 21 vs. Birmingham Steeldogs - "Bangstix Night"
Fans are invited join the Wolves for their next home game on Friday, May 21, against the Birmingham Steeldogs at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Kick-off for this event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and all fans through the doors will receive a FREE pair of Bangstix, courtesy of Talarico Dealerships and 95.7 WZID.
