"We interviewed several candidates from all over the country," said Bucks / Law President John Beckelhymer. "We felt Nicole had superior credentials and was extremely dedicated to community involvement. We feel that as much as the Bucks and Law already do to be out and about, it is still an area that we can improve on. We as an organization want to give back to the fans and community as much as they have given the Bucks and Law."

The 29-year old Thompson, is a native of Austin, Texas.

"I have been looking for an opportunity to get involved in sports," said Thompson. "The Bucks and Law organization as a whole is outstanding. The facilities are incredible and the character of the team and staff is what drove me to pursue this opportunity."

Thompson attended Texas Tech University. She previously worked at the Texas Culinary Academy in recruiting and admission. Prior to that she worked for Dell Computers in sales and marketing.

"I want the team to be as involved with the community as possible," continued Thompson. "I want to create more camps and more things that involve kids. I want to help the organization to give back to the community as much as the community has given to the Bucks and Law. We plan to do this thru appearances, autograph sessions and volunteer work."

For more information or to contact the Bucks / Law about community appearances contact Nicole Thompson at (956) 523-6586 or nthompson@laredobucks.com.
