
Wolves are big advocates of Freedom

MANCHESTER, N.H. (May 18, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves, New England's newest professional football team, have invited members of the New Hampshire Freedom women's tackle football team to be part of their next home game this Friday night, May 21, against the Birmingham Steeldogs at the Verizon Wireless Arena. As mutual partners, the Wolves and Freedom are always looking for new ways to promote each other and the game of football throughout the region.
The Freedom will be on hand helping the Wolves in a variety of ways, including greeting fans at the doors, handing out giveaway items and assisting with on-field promotions. In addition, the Freedom will also have an information table set up on the concourse where Wolves fans can learn more about their team.
"We are looking forward to having the Freedom be a part of our game this Friday night," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "We want the fans to know that we support the female athletes in our state."
Fans are invited join the Wolves for their next home game on Friday, May 21, against the Birmingham Steeldogs at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Kick-off for this event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and all fans through the doors will receive a FREE pair of Bangstix, courtesy of Talarico Dealerships, 95.7 WZID and Verizon Wireless. Adult seats start as low as $14 in the upper bowl while youth (12-and-under) and senior (65-and-over) tickets start at just $9.50.
