MANCHESTER, N.H. (February 2, 2004) - The arenafootball2 league office announced today that Boston College alum Keith Hemmings has been assigned to the Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's newest professional football team. The Wolves now have 15 players officially on their training camp roster.
"Keith comes to us with great credentials from Boston College, a big-time Division I football program," Wolves Head Coach Rik Richards said. "He had a bit of bad luck with an injury after his senior season, but he's healthy now and ready to showcase his talents."
Hemmings, a 6-2, 210-pound af2 rookie, saw action in 35 games over his four-year career at Boston College. His best season came as a senior in 2002 when he led the Eagles in receptions (41) and receiving yards (559). For his career, the Keasbey, NJ native caught 58 passes overall for 853 yards and five touchdowns. Hemmings, who graduated from Boston College in 2003 with a degree in Communications, is expected to compete for a spot with the Wolves as a wide receiver/defensive back.
