
Wolves Acquire Yearwood from Knights

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves announce they have acquired 18-year-old forward Nicholas Yearwood from the London Knights in exchange for Sudbury's 10th round draft pick in 2026.
"We would like to welcome Nicholas and his family to the Sudbury Wolves," said Sudbury Wolves Vice President and General Manager Rob Papineau. "He is a player that we feel will really help our team's depth and compete level."
The 6', 190lbs Thornhill, Ontario native, was selected by the Knights in the 15th round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. He has played 23 games to date this season.
Yearwood is expected to suit up with the Wolves this Wednesday when they host the North Bay Battalion at 7:05pm. Wednesday's game marks the first of three home games for the Wolves this week with the Flint Firebirds visiting the Nickel City on Friday at 7:05pm for Italian night at the Sudbury Arena.
Sunday, the Wolves wrap up the weekend when they host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at 2:05pm.
