Wolverines Host Ice Dogs for Club 49 Cup Rival Weekend

After sweeping the Kenai River Brown Bears at home this past week, the Anchorage Wolverines will play their other cross state rivals in the Fairbanks Ice Dogs this Friday and Saturday at home at the Ben. The Wolverines have been excellent against the Ice Dogs this season, with a record of 4-1-1 versus Fairbanks this year. Read Isaac Smoldon's full preview here.

Andy Ramsey has been selected to represent the Anchorage Wolverines at the 2023 NAHL Top Prospects tournament in February. Ramsey, who was recently named Captain for the 2022-23 season, has 13 assists this year and is plus three through his 29 games played. As a member of the Midwest division championship Wolverines squad last season, he had 13 points and was a plus 16.

The Anchorage Wolverines are excited to announce that forward Fedya Nikolayeneya has committed to the University of Alaska Fairbanks for the 2024-25 season. Nikolayenya has 17 points with the Wolverines this season, (nine goals, eight assists) and has been a key part of Anchorage's offensive structure since joining the team in late September.
