Wolverines Head to Janesville to Ring in the New Year against the Jets

After getting the week off for the Christmas holiday, the Wolverines are back on the road to face the Janesville Jets for three games over the course of the next week. Anchorage comes back from the break in sixth place in the Midwest division, but well within striking distance of a playoff spot, sitting two points back of fourth place, and just seven points behind the first place Minnesota Wilderness. The Wolverines are proud to share that Anchorage native Easton Edwards will be joining the 2023-24 team. Edwards is the fifth Alaskan the Wolverines have tendered for next year's squad. Edwards joins Vaughn Makar, Rylan Anaruk, Will Shephard, Luke Lizak, Jackson Stimple, Spencer Klotz, Cole Frawner, Tyler Hennen, Luke Anderson and Cole Christian in the 2023-24 tender class.

Wolverines Alum Colton Friesen is making quite the mark in his freshman season at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Friesen leads the Yellowjackets in scoring with 8 goals, 8 assists and a +9 rating. Friesen and the Yellowjackets are 5-2-0 in conference, sitting 2nd in the WIAC standings.
