
Wolverines Fall Short Against The Wilderness

The Anchorage Wolverines again came up short against the Minnesota Wilderness on Saturday night, losing by a final score of 2-1. Shane Soderwall was in net again for the Wolverines, making 27 saves.
Much like Friday night, Saturday's contest was a low scoring affair. Minnesota scored late in the 1st, with Noah Griswold potting his second goal of the season. Andy Ramsey responded with for Anchorage with his first of the year, scoring two minutes after Griswold. The 2nd would remain scoreless, but Eddie Shepler scored what would end up being the game winner over halfway through the final period. The Wolverines would be unable to come back with the time remaining and for the second time in as many nights lost to Minnesota.
Both teams play once more this weekend, Sunday at 2:15 AKDT. The game is available to watch exclusively on HockeyTV.
