Connecticut Whale News Release


The Hartford Wolf Pack finished pre-season in fine style. With Jason LaBarbera pulled in favor of the extra attacker, the club scored three goals in less than a minute to force Bridgeport into overtime on Saturday. Chad Wiseman scored the winner in the new sudden death shootout to take the contest 4-3. The team finished pre-season with a 3-0 record.

Coming Up:

Tuesday, October 12 - Wolf Pack Golf for Kids Charity Tournament The team and special celebrity guests Glen Sather, Don Maloney, John Davidson, Sam Rosen and Mike Crispino will participate in this fifth annual event to be held at the TPC River Highlands course in Cromwell in aid of the Children's Home of Cromwell. More than $80,000 has been raised for the event in the first four years of the tournament. Shotgun tee-off time is 10:30 a.m. Media are invited to cover the event.

Saturday, October 16 - Wolf Pack versus Philadelphia - Hartford Civic Center 7:05 p.m.
