
Wolf Pack Sign Forward Chad Nehring to AHL Contract

HARTFORD, August 26, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that forward Chad Nehring as signed an AHL contract with the Wolf Pack.
Nehring saw action in 53 games with the Wolf Pack this past season, his first career AHL stint, and registered four goals and eight assists for 12 points, along with 50 penalty minutes and a +2 rating. He also skated in all 15 of the Wolf Pack's postseason contests, chipping in two goals and one assist for three points and serving four minutes in penalties. In 17 games with the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors, the 5-11, 200-pound Nehring posted five goals and seven assists for 12 points, plus 13 PIM.
A 28-year-old native of Springside, Saskatchewan, Nehring has played four full pro seasons, logging 130 career ECHL games with the Idaho Steelheads, Las Vegas Wranglers and the Road Warriors. In that action, he amassed totals of 45 goals and 44 assists for 89 points, as well as 115 PIM.
Prior to turning pro, Nehring spent four years at Lake Superior State University, garnering 30-23-53 and 68 PIM in 147 career games.
