Hartford Wolf Pack News Release

HARTFORD, October 9, 2015: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Alex Krushelnyski to an AHL contract and has loaned Krushelnyski to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.

A second-year man out of Colorado College, Krushelnyski, 24, played in three AHL games last season with the Norfolk Admirals, going scoreless with four penalty minutes and six shots on goal. In 62 ECHL games with the Grizzlies, the 6-0, 180-pound Bloomfield Hills, MI native notched 17 goals and 40 assists for 57 points, along with 28 PIM and a +5. Those numbers were good for second on the Utah club in assists and third in points, and earned Krushelnyski a spot in the ECHL All-Star Game January 21 in Orlando, FL, in which he scored a goal for the ECHL All-Stars against the Orlando All-Stars.

Prior to turning pro, Krushelnyski, whose father Mike was a three-time Stanley Cup-winner with the Edmonton Oilers during a nearly 900-game career in the NHL, played four seasons at Colorado College, registering totals of 42 goals and 59 assists for 101 points, plus 91 PIM, in 158 career games.
