Wolf Pack Recall Defenseman Ryan Constant

HARTFORD, March 6, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have recalled defenseman Ryan Constant from their ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Constant, a second-year pro, skated in seven games in earlier action with the Wolf Pack this year, registering one goal and four penalty minutes. In 45 ECHL games with the Checkers, the 5-11, 200-pound native of Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba has totaled three goals and 14 assists for 17 points, along with 70 PIM. Constant ranked second among Charlotte defensemen in both points and assists.

The Wolf Pack hit the road this week, for games at Houston tomorrow night, Friday, March 7th (8:35), and at San Antonio Saturday evening (8:00). Their next home contest is Friday, March 14th, a 7:00 game vs. San Antonio.
