
WJTN-AM Picks Up Destroyers Games

(BUFFALO, NY) â The Buffalo Destroyers are pleased to announce WJTN 1240 AM in Jamestown, New York, has become the first affiliate of the Destroyers Football Network. WJTN will begin their coverage this Saturday when the Destroyers face the Detroit Fury at 7:30 PM. The station will pick up the feed from the Destroyers flagship station WNSA 107.7 FM.
"I know what great sports fans there are in the Southern Tier from my days with the Bills," said head coach and general manager Ray Bentley. "It's great to have the chance to earn the support of that great sports community."
WJTN, a news/talk station, covers the Southern Tier of New York state and Northern Pennsylvania.
"We are excited to bring the Buffalo Destroyers down to the Southern Tier," said WJTN program director Nick Keefe. "We look forward to getting our listeners familiar with the Destroyers."
The Destroyers flagship station WNSA covers Western New York including the western part of Rochester and down into part of the Southern Tier. With WJTN, the Destroyers have a broadcast presence in most of western portion of the state.
The Destroyers travel to the Motor City Saturday, May 11 to battle the Detroit Fury at 7:30 PM at The Palace of Auburn Hills. You can see the game on Empire Sports Network and hear it on WNSA 107.7 FM and WJTN 1240 AM.
