
Wizards, Thrivent Financial Make Donation for Home Runs

The thirty-eight home runs hit by the Fort Wayne Wizards at Memorial Stadium during the 2005 season turned into a great reward for local charities as part of a sponsorship between the Wizards and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
During the season, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans donated $50.00 per home run hit by the Wizards at Memorial Stadium, with the money being given to local charities.
Ron Caron, president of the West chapter for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and John Bernhardt, the president of the East chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, each donated $650.00 to the Lutheran Social Services Disability Outreach Program. Robert Graf, president of the Central chapter for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans donated $650.00 to the Southwest Interdenominational Friendship Program.
