
Wizards Roster Makes Minor Adjustment

Fort Wayne, IN - Changes to the Fort Wayne Wizards roster for the start of the 2006 season were announced today.
Right-hander Eduardo Pena has been added to the pitching staff and right-handers Joel Santo and Greg Burke were taken off the roster, originally announced on Saturday.
Pena spent the 2005 season with the Worcester Tornadoes of the Canadian American Association, finishing with a 2-4 records and a 5.08 earned run average. In 67 1/3 innings he struck out 60 batters. A four-year starter for Georgetown University, Pena tied for the team lead in starts as a freshman and over his final three seasons led the Hoyas in strikeouts, including a career high of 75 as a senior.
The Wizards begin the season with a two-game road trip against the West Michigan Whitecaps (Detroit Tigers affiliate) on Thursday, April 6. Fort Wayne opens the 2006 home portion of the schedule against the Whitecaps at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8.
Fans can meet the newest Wizards at the annual "Meet the Team" night beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. The new 2006 Wizards players and coaches will be available for autographs, photographs and interviews.
