MEMPHIS, Tennessee - Patrick Wisdom hit his 30th home run of the season, and Jordan Schafer was 3-for-4 in a 5-4 Memphis Redbirds win over the Iowa Cubs (Cubs) Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.
The division-champion Redbirds have won five-straight games and soar to 41 games over .500 at 89-48. The club is now tied with the 1927 Memphis Chickasaws for the 12th-most wins in 119 seasons of professional baseball in Memphis. The Redbirds are 43-17 in their last 60 games.

Schafer had three knocks, including a double, and a stolen base and RBI in his first start as a Redbird after coming off the Disabled List.
Dakota Hudson picked up his first-career Triple-A win with 5.2 innings of work, giving up three runs on four hits. Andrew Morales followed, and with Iowa within a run at 5-4 Mike Mayers pitched 2.0 perfect innings and Sean Gilmartin earned his first save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
All nine starters had at least one of Memphis' 13 hits in the game, and pinch-hitter Wilfredo Tovar had another.
