Wisconsin Herd Names Arte Culver as General Manager

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, have named Arte Culver as the team's third General Manager in franchise history.

"Arte's dedication and hard work over the past four years with the Herd make him the ideal choice to become the Herd General Manager," said Bucks General Manager Jon Horst. "We want to congratulate Arte on his promotion and look forward to another exciting season in Oshkosh."

Culver joined the Bucks organization as Director of Basketball Operations for the Herd in July 2019 and was later promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2021. Before joining the Herd, the native of Houston was the Director of Recruiting and Player Personnel for Vanderbilt University's men's basketball team (2017-2019). Prior to his time at Vanderbilt, Culver was the Head Coach of men's basketball at Covenant College after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Wheaton College.
