Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - Saturday's game between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Kane County Cougars was rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Game one is scheduled to begin at 1:05pm.
Tickets for Saturday's game may be exchanged for the same price ticket to any Timber Rattlers regular season home game in August of 2014 or April or May of 2015. Tickets must be exchanged at the Timber Rattlers ticket office. Tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed and there are no cash refunds.
A minor league doubleheader is a pair of seven-inning games. Game two will start approximately thirty minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Fans with tickets for Sunday may attend both games of the doubleheader.
The scheduled starting pitchers for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are Wei-Chung Wang in game one and Chad Thompson in the nightcap. Kane County will counter with Daury Torrez in game one and Ben Wells in game two.
Former Milwaukee Brewers slugger Rob Deer will be on hand for the doubleheader and throw out a first pitch before game one and meet fans for pictures and autographs as part of Brewers Sunday presented by 107.5, The Fan. Play catch on the field starting at noon courtesy of Rasmussen College.
Timber Rattlers players and coaches will be wearing gold Rattlers jerseys based on the design of the Milwaukee Brewers for the final time this season. There will be a live postgame auction after game two for all of the jerseys with the proceeds going to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. All Timber Rattlers players will be available for a post-doubleheader autograph session, too.
If you can't make it out to the ballpark, tune in for the broadcast on AM1280, WNAM or IHeartRadio starting with the Miller Lite Pregame Show at 12:45pm. Sunday's twinbill is also available for MiLB.TV subscribers.
