
Winterhawks Goaltending Coach Tyler Love Hired By St. Louis Blues

Portland Winterhawks goaltending coach Tyler Love has been hired by the NHL's St. Louis Blues as their goaltending consultant, working with Blues goaltenders Chris Mason and Ty Conklin.
In his first season with the Winterhawks, Love works directly with the goaltenders on the Winterhawks' roster as well as the team's list goaltenders. He also focuses on scouting for the bantam draft and provides evaluations of current WHL goaltenders. Love will continue his duties with the Winterhawks while working for the Blues.
Love is a co-owner and instructor for the World Pro Goaltending School in Calgary, Alberta. He's served as a goaltending coach for the Prince George Spruce Kings of the British Columbia Hockey League, coached for Hockey Canada at their world junior goaltender camp, and worked numerous other camps and clinics throughout his career.
Love has also tutored several current NHL goalies, including Mason, Carey Price and former Winterhawk Jason LaBarbera. He began his career as a player in the WHL, suiting up for Moose Jaw, Prince George and Saskatoon from 1993-97.
