WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Dash crushed three home runs and 11 hits to win 7-2 over Wilmington in front of 5,647 fans Saturday night at BB&T Ballpark.

Winston-Salem (37-24) received a boost from Cyle Hankerd. In his second game with the Dash, Hankerd displayed the powerful bat that carried him up to the Triple-A level in 2010. The designated hitter drilled two solo home runs and finished the night 4-for-4.

It was a night of firsts for Daniel Wagner. He played in the outfield for the first time in his professional career. Wagner also accomplished a new mark for the season at the plate. With two men on in the fourth inning, Wagner crushed his first long ball of the year. The bomb over the right-field wall pushed the Dash in front 4-2.

Wilmington (28-34) was held to two runs, both coming off the bat of Brett Eibner. The center fielder doubled home a run in the first to give the Blue Rocks a 1-0 lead. With the game tied in the third inning, Eibner hit a solo home run over the left field wall.

Hankerd's home run in the second tied the game 1-1 before Wagner's home run put the Dash ahead for good in the fourth inning. Winston-Salem added two in the seventh inning when a Dan Black single was misplayed in right field to score Brady Shoemaker. A single from Trayce Thompson plated Black to push Winston-Salem's lead to 7-2.

Justin Collop (6-1) went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs and striking out four batters. Steven Upchurch and Chris Bassitt combined to pitch two and one-third scoreless innings out of the bullpen. The win marks the sixth straight over Wilmington dating back to April 22.

The Dash go for the series sweep Sunday when southpaw Spencer Arroyo (3-3, 5.28 ERA) takes the mound. Wilmington gives the ball to right-hander Sugar Ray Marimon (4-0, 1.95 ERA).
