Winnipeg Ice News Release
The Winnipeg ICE are pleased to announce details for the 2022 Training Camp presented by Body Measure.
All on ice sessions are open to the public and will take place at the RINK Training Centre starting Friday, September 2nd and conclude with the annual Showcase Game Monday, September 5th at 6:00pm.
Rookies and returning players will be divided into four teams who will go through on and off ice testing followed by daily skill development, scrimmages and educational sessions.
The Jarret Stoll Cup returns, which will be awarded to the most successful team during camp. Follow along on the ICE social media channels for updated scores, standings and more!
Stoll, a two time Stanley Cup Champion with the Los Angeles Kings, was the first player inducted into the ICE Hall of Fame in March of 2019. His WHL career included celebrating two WHL championships (2000, 2002) with the ICE and winning the 2002 Memorial Cup. Stoll is currently second all-time in ICE points (286) and goals (124).
The Training Camp Showcase Game presented by Body Measure will be played at 6:00PM at The RINK Training Centre on Monday September 5th.
The annual showcase game is a great opportunity for fans to watch ICE returning players before they go to NHL Camps and young prospects that are trying to make the roster.
Donations to the Winnipeg ICE Education Fund will be accepted at the door upon entry. All donations go towards the post secondary education of current and former Winnipeg ICE players.
