Aberdeen Wings News Release
Your Aberdeen Wings came to the Odde Friday night on a mission. The mission was to end a losing streak in front of their faithful hometown support. They did not disappoint. The mission would not be easy however as the top team in the Central Division would be coming into town. The Wings came out strong with Will Hammer getting things going with a goal only 3 minutes into the game! Assisting on the goal was Tucker DeYoung and Carter Roo. Moments later is was the new comer Chris Murphy netting his first goal as a Wing on a nice steal, pass, score combination. The two teams would go scoreless through the 2nd and 19:56 of the 3rd but with just seconds remaining Minot was able to trickle one past Gavin Paczosa to ruin the shut out. Gavin was able to make 37 saves on the 38 shots he faced in the contest. The Wings look to build off the big home win when they travel to Minot tomorrow to once again host the Minotauros. Game time is 7:35 CST and can be heard on 94.1 FM the ROCK, streamed at hubcityradio.com or watched @ fasthockey.com!
