Austin 1 @ Aberdeen 5 - Adam Pitters had a goal and two assists as the Aberdeen Wings completed their sweep of the Austin Bruins. The win was the 550th for Wings head coach Scott Langer. Peter Morgan and Jonathan Bendorf each had a goal and an assist, while Brad Belisle and Riley Murphy also lit the lamp for the Wings. Matt Vernon won his league leading, 39th game of the year as he stopped 24 shots.
The Wings are on the road this coming Thursday & Friday taking on The Minnesota Wilderness. We WILL know our opponent for Round 1 of the Robertson Cup Playoffs by the end of the weekend... Home games for the Wings in round 1 will be April 12th, 13th and if necessary 22nd.
