Wings Stadium to host Spooky Skate

Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Complex, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announce that the complex will host a Halloween Spooky Skate on the Wings Stadium ice this Sunday, October 29th from 2-4 p.m.

The Spooky Skate will give the community a chance to skate on the same Orange Ice that the K-Wings will play on the night before. The Wings Stadium staff is also encouraging people to come dressed in their Halloween costumes, as the K-Wings mascot, Slappy will be on hand to present the prize for best costume. Besides the best costume award, there will also be additional prizes given out during the event. Admission for the Spooky Skate is $5; individuals that need skates can rent them for $2.

The Orange Ice in Wings Stadium on Sunday coincides with the Kalamazoo Wings 3rd Annual Orange Ice Game, which will occur this Saturday, October 28th, when the K-Wings host their archrivals the Muskegon Fury. Tickets for the K-Wings Orange Ice Game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. For more information call the Ticket Office at (269) 345-5101.

Stadium Management Company owns both the Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for most non-ice events. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, playing host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
