Wings Sign Lucas Lidstrom to Tender

The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce the signing of Forward Lucas Lidstom to a Tender for the 23-24 NAHL Season.

Lidstrom is a 6'1 185 LB left handed defenseman from Detroit, MI. Lucas scored 2 goals and had 7 assists in 55 games played for Vasteras IK J20 last season. "We are very excited to announce the signing of Lucas Lidstrom, son of Nicklas Lidstrom of the Detroit Red Wings, to the Aberdeen Wings family. Lucas is coming back to the United States from Sweden to play his last year of junior hockey with us. He is a big, 200 foot defenseman that does not have many flaws in his game. He will be a stabilizer for us on the back end with his style of play and his junior hockey experience. He brings many intangible qualities to our team that makes him a coach's dream to have an opportunity with. We are looking forward to having a chance to continue to grow his game as he chases his dream of being a Division 1 college hockey player." Wings Assistant Coach Zach Stepan
