Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings were back in action Friday night at the Odde, and they picked up where they left off two weeks ago. The Wings shut down defense and a couple first period goals to skate to a 2-0 exhibition win. Natan Vertes started the scoring in the 1st period when he found the back of the net with Manty & MacKay assisting on the goal at the 17:05 mark. Manty would add a goal of his own at the 4:37 mark to give the Wings a slight cushion, but that would be all they would need. Assisting on the Manty goal was deVita. Sibell stopped all 22 shots he faced. The Bruins spent plenty of time in the box as they ended with all 5 penalties in the game.
The two teams will meet again Saturday night at the Odde as the Wings close out their exhibition schedule. Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15. Get your $10 GA tickets at aberdeenwings.com/tickets. Paid season ticket holders will receive FREE admission. The Wings start the regular season next Friday & Saturday at the Odde when they take on the St. Cloud Norsemen.
